Safe Streets Driving School offers MTO-approved beginner driver education courses. Safe Streets Driving School provides the mandatory 20 hours of online classroom instruction, 10 hours of homelink assignments, and 10 hours of in-car lessons. Completion of both the online classroom and in-car components allows Safe Streets Driving School to provide our students with a Driver’s License History (DLH), which serves as proof of successful completion and graduation from a BDE course. BDE graduates with a DLH are eligible for an insurance discount in most cases.

Our online classroom sessions are engaging, fun, and upbeat while remaining thoroughly educational, properly preparing our students to be the best and safest drivers they can be. Our courses are available year-round with flexible scheduling options to fit busy lifestyles, including self-paced modules, weekend sessions, evening classes through the fall and winter, intensive holiday periods, and weekday options during summer holidays. If you are unable to complete a module on time, you can always make it up at any point within a one-year period.

Our online classroom program is designed to work around the busy schedules of our students—at Safe Streets Driving School, our students are our number one priority. We use clean and safe cars for all in-car training. Our instructors are very friendly and patient, with flexible schedules that accommodate our students’ needs. All in-car appointments are conducted on a one-to-one basis between the student and instructor. All of our Safe Streets instructors are MTO-qualified. At Safe Streets, we allow students to take their in-car lessons concurrently with the online classroom components, enabling faster completion of the driving school program.
